What was your favorite movie/TV series to watch while deployed?

Movie- 300

03-04 watched a lot of South Park
05-06 watched a lot of Friends and UFC
11-12 watched Prison Break, Sons of Anarchy and Big Bang Theory

Black Hawk Down, We Were Soldiers and Sopranos were always playing somewhere.

A group of us got together to watch "Desperate Housewives". Come on, it was too funny not to miss and better than being on drugs.

Always had a good time watching House and pretty anything else I could find on hand, though spent a lot of time on the cribbage board.

In DS/DS I had one tape, I listened to it over and over. That was Faith no More.
OIF 04-05 I didn't have time to watch much., but watched every episode of Desperate Housewives while waiting to go home on leave.
OIF 09-10 Law and Order, all of them, CSI, all of them and whatever I could get, usually watched a lot of porn on the internet. It was a pretty boring deployment.

Watched a lot of South Park when I had the chance when I was not on a convoy which I was on the road every 2 days.

At Da Nang Viet Nam, in 1968-69 We had both radio and television broadcast from AFVN DaNang (Armed Forces Radio, Vietnam) Shown here is the broadcast studio which was located half way up Monkey Mountain, a high point near Da Nang. One of our favorite TV shows was Combat, with actor Vic Morrow as Sgt Saunders a WWII setting TV series at the time.
