What will be you be doing Veteran's Day weekend in 2017?

This year Veterans Day falls on Saturday and the Federal Holiday is today. On Memorial Day the nation honors the war dead and on Veterans Day the nation honors those who served in the armed forces of the USA. We who served and who currently serve remember the war dead and our service throughout our lives.

Taking the day off from work. I'll be visiting close friends at Fort Rosecrans and Riverside National Cemeteries.

Today when with other VFW members to local assisted living center. We had a ceremony to honor Veterans living at the center.

My wife and I will be looking after our granddaughter ,but will be remembering my Brothers from another time and thanking God they were there when I needed them.

Low key this year. Attend parade in the morning then grilling something (haven't decided what yet) with family in pm.
