You are a NCO and an MP, I cannot fathom why you would want to bring that kind of attention to your spouse. Save the jokes for the house, because I can only assume that the DI's are also mostly MP's, since you said that she is going where you had gone, and one of them may just remember the gag when they are YOUR boss as well, and then it becomes the gift that will keep on giving for years.

Well since you wear a rank, I think you are confused about what would happen. Unless your DIs go easy on you in the Army, I'm sure the result would be equally hilarious and frustrating.
But in my opinion, I think they would cover her head to toe in sunscreen or skin lotion, and then have her roll around on the ground until her skin has picked up every last piece of glitter. Then have her walk around all day like that until it was shower time. I can even imagine her being used as the reflective road guard.
It'll definitely be a good story to tell... but she'll probably kick your ass for it.

Honestly, I've been through basic "recently"... I'm sure the DS would have a ball... Nothing much.... We had a PVT send letters back home to have his parents put airheads in a bible... Nothing really happened

Things have sure changed since I went thru. After the platoon finished picking up every last piece of glitter an scrubbing the place down for the next few days just to make sure there was none left. The DS's would start their fun. In the mean time all friends would now be gone because of the extra work SHE caused them.

send her nudes instead. I always loved it when one of the guys in my platoon got nudes from his girlfriend in basic. lol.....

Don't even think of doing that, its not a good idea ! While She is in basic She doesn't need that kind of attention drawn to Her especially from the Drill Instructors. . I doubt very much She would see any humor in that.

She would probably have a tough rest of the time during basic training. I'd definitely be on board with some of the others and recommend against it brother.

While I would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that. And since i had a nasty mail call at boot for a letter from my parents with a congressional seal on it... Yes somewhere my dad got ahold of a couple of congressional seals (still don't know how) but I paid for that letter for about 2 hours before I could see it because I had not made a statement about knowing or being related to any members of congress. So I wouldn't recommend it. I can only imagine what my DIs would have done to someone receiving a glitter bomb, and it wouldn't have been pretty.
