What would you consider to be a medic's fieldcraft, and what source do you prefer?

What do you consider it to be? Who is in charge of teaching you this? What do you follow if you get conflicting information? Where do you get your information from?
I know this is indepth questions, that can go down a lot of rabbitholes, but I'm curious about the force.

Although I am not a medic I knew quite a few medics. I would say the medic's field craft is learned through experience and re-enforced by a more seasoned medic.
