So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

Let BDE CSM know give it a week then let post CSM know.... But uniform dry violation drive me batty and I won't hesitate to go to whoever I have to to make somebody fix it if they won't fix it when I let them know they're wrong no matter who they are or how high I have to go!

I'm kind of glad this CSM is ignoring military
standards. And the reason I am because you guys ABOVE
and BELOW continue to ride her about it. But what
many of you guys don't understand, for those who are
currently serving or veterans is human emotion,EGO or
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE. Let me further explain , why
I think the reason that this NON COMMISSION OFFICER
does what she does because its a form of rebellion
and stubbornness, and the reason she rebels is because
those in the past and present have tried to correct
her by humiliating her in front of other soldiers
rather than taking her to the side and talking to
this CSM about it in private THAT'S JUST MY THEORY
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The problem with today,s military is many of you guys
are ROBOTS or SHEEP, but not all. For example,
those in lower AND higher ranks If the CSM can't
follow military standards or is leading the fort by
grooming misconduct. As lower personnel, serving
under their authority think they should be able to do
this as well? Not really, because That's like saying if my CSM jumps
off a bridge? I will jump off a bridge as well .
Absolutely not, No ! But and individual as a Officer,
NCO, or lower rank personnel should look at your
good examples and bad examples and DISCERN from
what's right and wrong ESPECIALLY if your of lower
rank, and you witness a person of higher rank
committing these sins. The moral of the story is let
the person who's COMMITTING UJMC violations serve as a
example of what not to do than to follow their bad
example especially for something that's minor, and that
way when a particular individual is up for
promotion, for a leadership role, then they know what
not to do by letting this person serve as a learning
opportunity.
-----------------------------------------------------
The question might be now how does the military
correct this? CHARGE IT TO THE GAME. Basically no matter the rank
lower or higher CHARGE IT TO THE GAME. What do I
mean by this? For example, if a individual forgets
too tie their boots, take off their hat while
entering a building , fail to shave or wear their
hair into short pony tail or fail to follow
traditional courtesies like saluting and officer etc
then the solution is to TAKE IT OUT OF A PERSON'S
MYPAY. Also the higher the rank, the more
monies deducted from MILITARY PAY.
That way you avoid dealing with a person's EGO,HUMAN
EMOTION, OR STUBBORNNESS.
How does such a system get implemented? Well most
military bases already have video camera's through-
out each particular base. Use a computer and smart
camera to gather a data base to observe all
individuals who are schedule to work that day and
those with medical reasons and excuses should be
excused. Anyone on the lists without medical waivers,
committing any common courtesy violations will be
taken out of their pay check
----------------------------------------------------------
And the reason IM RANTING about this is because
military POLICIES and MUCH OF IT is no different from
the POLICE STATE. Good example, lets pick on the
small stuff rather than have to WORRY ABOUT THE
BIGGER ISSUES. LIKE sense I left for little three
years of service I did have
1.People are still killing each other and committing
suicide
2.Sexual harassment is still taking place
3.High rank individuals are still using rules and
regulation to abuse lower ranking soldiers.
4.If Im solider of lower rank and don't agree with
someone higher rank because of personality conflict
then the lower rank individual real receive and
article 15 or may even get kick out.
5.Their are still many people beating the system for
more serious offenses than grooming and uniform
standards.
7.People are still being kicked out for some of the dumbest stuff
8.Not been properly train or allowed to participate in your particular career field
because of racial biases.

I think this forum is a good place to air problems that have not been resolved by the COC as long as you have made several attempts to fix it the right way. Yes I agree that a private conversation is the right way to handle most of these problems. But what if the person refuses to correct the infraction, or is higher ranking than you and has a commanders ear to boot. This situation just highlighted a part of the military that was hidden for a long time from view. Now the BDE went into damage control mode because who wants to look jacked up? I mean what a great job of cleaning up that FB page right? Then invoking the DOD rules on posting on social media. They sought cover and concealment just like they were taught. I bet there is already a PPT slide show on how to handle this kind of problem if it occurs again and we will all soon be treated to classes on what does and does not go a unit's FB page. Remember they pooped their diaper, we all will get to wear it!

I sense more hate and bigotry here than uniform violations. How many Soldiers here making all these comments about this CSM have never worn Oakleys sunglasses "eye pro" in garrison, let their finger nails get past their finger tips, or wear their hair longer than Chuck Norris without an exemption to policy? Grab the ba11s and make an on the spot correction and drive on!

MSG Jay Jackson - Being an Old Soldier and a Specialist Five converted to a Sergeant later on, then moving up, I take exception that Specialist in the grade of 4-9 were weak leaders. Of course during my tenure "AN ARMY OF ONE" didn't exist. Nowadays, you can't even tell what branch a Soldier is when wearing the ACU or MCU. That is unfortunate.

This is not about hate or bigotry. She is a terrible example of how not to be a soldier. She was my BN CSM in Afghanistahn in 2011. She did not set the example of what a senior leader should be. Insteady of saying its about hate or bigotry talk to the soldiers who had to endure her toxic leadership.
