So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

Ate up like a soup sandwich, glad to see the Bde CSM is involved, maybe this E-9 needs a staff job or is a prime candidate for retirement

CPT Russell Pitre - Good.Rank shouldn't make a person immune to military standards.I keep looking at posts and pictures people post on Facebook about how the military is now and I have to say,I am damn glad I'm not in anymore.I joined in Feb86.I went to Harmony Church,Fort Benning Georgia for basic. It was a bitch, the Drill would smack you upside your nugget if you messed up,(they wasn't allowed to,but they did).Basic training was tough. There were no "time out cards" and they trained our asses off.The Army has changed an S-load since I've got out.

CPT Russell Pitre - I hope the CSMA is on her case with QMP. As I'm retired and have nothing to loose (retired) but respect for the NCO Crops. I actually TXT to the CSMA, about CSM being a bad influence on lower Enlisted Soldiers, See what or if he answers me!

When I was in the Army, I witnessed a Captain chewing out a Command Sargent Major for uniform violations. When I went back into the military (US Air Force) I had three different Group Commanders that fired Senior NCO's and officers for not being up to standards. The one Group Commander I remember the best, was the first unit I was in, at Tinker AFB. I had only been in the Air Force for 6 months when this Colonel told us at Commanders Call that the honeymoon was over and the next day he fired 3 officers and 5 Senior NCO's for not meeting standards. He had been the commander for 1 month when this all took place. When I was in the Army and Air Force, I respected anyone who would tell me that I wasn't meeting standards either in job performance or in Military bearing.

I don't feel social media is the correct avenue, however: If half of what
if said and reported is accurate, needs immediate action.

I got out 12 years ago and she was getting away with it before then. She might fix it for a moment and then go back to her ways. At least now with social media it's bringing heat.

It was hard enough keeping my longer hair in-line when I was SSG and I contemplated cutting it plenty of times. However, I managed it -- Always up into tight bun and off collar, etc. However, if it ever got in the way/violated regs. and especially with the rank of CSM, I would recommend cutting it into a more squared-away style immediately.

There just is no excuse to be out-of-uniform when it can be so easily remedied; It's not about fashion but respect for legacy. To do otherwise demonstrated both poor management and lackluster leadership. "Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things." -- Peter Drucker
