So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:
"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."
What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?
What should the Army do about this?
(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)
**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

The entire officer corps is guilty of psychophantic careerism to the point of treason.
This is what you get when you practice PC and "Go along to get along" leadership. There was a time when we had leaders. Now we have managers.

She has been in a while to get CSM. She must have been in the military in your day.

The MP are the backbone of the US Army by enforcing military laws and regulations. If you cannot enforce military laws and regulations then you cannot be in the Army. Follow the laws and regulations in the ARMY is everyone's job.

CW3 (Join to see) - I have never heard that the MPs are the backbone of the Army. If anything it would be infantry since that was the first MOS in the Army and they are the ones that primary execute the mission of the Army.

CPT Russell Pitre - nope My entire 25 years in that is all I heard, "The NCOs are the backbone of the Army." I'm just saying what I heard and I believe it to be true. Just my opinion - no one specific MOS is the backbone of the Army really. Everyone does their part - without HR those infantryman wouldn't get paid right? My opinion only. Have a great day!!

Using great tact to make a diplomat, blush,I would cautiously approach the CSM with AR.670-1in tow and discuss the correct grooming standards for females. But in reality, let us be brutally frank. Her colonel or whoever is her immediate supervisor maybe turning a blind eye to this CSM's cavalier disregard for regs because, fear of critiquing an African American female in a high profile position invites cries of racism. She knows this and is mostly using that to her advantage. Unfortunately, she as a CSM, creates a toxic work environment that erodes unit cohesion and that is sad because all those awards she earned mean nothing when flaunting regs.

It's pretty Easy to Blast someone on social media, but has anyone had the intestinal fortitude to go to the CSM office and correct her?

I so agree with you!! - it starts with the Chain - you shouldn't be blasting this online - it's embarrassing to the military as a whole - its the same as calling that person out in front of others - very unprofessional. So for those of you who are talking about others online, you are just as bad as them in a way. Think about it!

SSG Ray Strenkowski
CW3 (Join to see) Chief - I'd encourage you to read the many comments here and on other sites. She had been engaged on this issue many times in the past and chose to do her own thing.
Although many of the photos of her on the 8th MP Bde site have been removed, many of the pictures are posted here. The photos show that she has been doing this for some time.
Putting yourself in say an E-3's shoes, what would your course of action be considering that your BDE CSM is the one not living up to the standard that she is supposed to set the example?

CW3 (Join to see) - What you say is true but I suspect this has been going on for so long with no relief from anyone that frustration finally built up to a point where it had to be laid out in public and aired like a soiled bedsheet. Too bad for the Army it ever got this far and that so many RPs felt the need to voice their concerns in public.

Yea I know. It's just social media has gotten so out of control. Thanks for understanding my POV though. Another CPT was argumentative with me saying maybe I was part of the problem that I am defending her. I don't like that. This site is not to argue. This is exactly why stuff like this shouldn't be aired on social media b

Well, this is what our stupid society has brought to the table for us men to deal with. I definitely would not respect her. But I would show her a great ti.e on a Friday, or Sat. night! She's smokin hot!

I thought this was a Duffle Blog article at first. If she's ignoring standards and threatening reprisals to those who try to correct her, and the chain of command is not doing anything, I would possibly file an IG complaint against her and/or the chain of command. If that doesn't work, consider I'd filing a congressional.

I would pull the out of reg. CSM to the side and address the issue. Some of the NCOs appointed over me would appreciate the correction, and some would not. But if you walk around allowing senior leadership AND your fellow leadership to walk around ate up like a soup sandwich , you're just as wrong as they are.
