What would you do if your CSM was ignoring uniform and grooming standards? (CSM Flournoy)

Nothing.

I would bring it to there attention, if they dismissed me I would take it all the way to the top if necessary !!

By failing to meet the standard herself she just shows that it's ok to do what you want.

Is sad and discouraging to be that SPC or SGT that view CSMs like demigods and then you look at this CSM with her fire-red hair and thick make up and are just clueless. I was an junior enlisted in both USN and USA and I know for myself or my fellow E-3s (or lower) we would have not dare to go and correct a senior NCO. We would probably have talked among ourselves and told each other that we were in disbelief and wondered why nobody else with more rank does something about it?

I have the pleasure of dealing with senior NCOs from the 8th MP and I do feel bad that their rep is getting trashed over an individual in a high leadership position. I also know great people at the 8th TSC who I can only say great things about. Its very very unfortunate that all those great professionals that I collaborated with, that their unit is getting bad press because of her.

Also, just playing devil's advocate, it seems her make up is very thick... I seen other females wore a heavy foundation before and it was to even out their facial color... like they had some sort of uneven spots etc... I am not making excuses but I seen this before and maybe people that are close to this CSM didnt bring the make-up up because they didnt want to chance been wrong and portrayed as harassing her if she does have a skin condition.

Again the hair, I thought female can color or wear fake hair but that it had to be a "natural" color which compliments the individual skin's tone. Also the hair has to fit when they wear their ACH. Does that sounds right? However, I dont think female in the military should wear fake hair, except if cancer survivor or baldness. Thats just appropriate and sensible but just because its fashionable when not in uniform... I dont know... thats a very personal opinion because in my experience the wigs and the hair extensions are always pushing it. They hardly do it where the hat doesnt look like will fly away with a heavy wind.

Omg. I can't believe she is on active duty and in some of these pictures seen with officers. Can anyone not correct her?? One soldier posted how she laughed at him during the practice for his brothers burial who was killed in Afghanistan. She clearly has no respect for military customs and traditions. She gives females in uniform a bad name.

I'm still waiting for the punchline. This is a joke, right?

Been reading a lot of responses about what people(other NCO's) would do/would have done about this "person". And someone answered , ""You would have got an EO complaint". Which is the dam truth. Can you imagine how many good soldiers this "person" , has either throw out of the military or made quit because of her "attitude"and playing that card? Looks don't lie , in this case.

Betcha she has ruined the careers of 10's if not 100's of good soldiers over the years. That is sickening to think of. I saw this type of "soldier", only on a few occasions back when I was in. But being in back in the 1980's and in the combat arms(TANKS) surely saved me from this type of "soldier" and other issues of PC. Now even the combat arms are open to destruction by these types of reprobates.
