So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

The military is now training E-9s...not leaders that would be a SGM, Chief, or Master Chief. Those are terms of respect and many have not earned it and are strictly E-9s with no leadership abilities.

"From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed." Stop whining out there. She's one of the "protected classes." Normal rules & standards do not apply. You are witnessing the future military. Get over it!

This is what happens when your military is run by a commander in chief con artist who is so hell bent on being PC that he loses sight of what the military is for and this is protecting the US, its interests, and its allies. Instead, they treat it as some sort of social experiment.

This argument is irrelevant. Did the president in anyway approve or encourage her breech of standards?

There has to be a reason why this individual was allowed to go this long without being appropriately disciplined and made to conform to grooming and uniform standards. My guess is previous commands that were 'scared' of taking her to task for fear of complaints about harassment and/or profiling. Then, having gotten away with it for so long, any attempts to make changes now are met with even stronger resistance and contempt. In my command, she would be given one week to conform completely before facing disciplinary action.

i would respectfully disagree with that time frame, Sir, because IF i were the Brigade Commander, that "Sergeant Major" would have had 24 hours or less to get with the program 100% or face severe Disciplinary Actions

After the backlash that the Army is seeing from this there is no way they can afford to not make an example out of her.

Simply allowing her to retire will be seen as a big 'F-Off' to all those who tried to confront her, those who served under her and enforce the perception of her leadership's (past and present) incompetence.

Chain of Command should have brought the CSM in for counseling and if the problem was not corrected the CSM should be replaced and reflected on their NCOER ( http://www.armycounselingonline.com/downloads/da-form-2166-8-1-ncoer-counseling-and-support-form/ ) Looks to me that their is much a problem with the OIC as with the CSM. Sergeants Majors are not Gods vi-a-vis officers and her CO should have corrected the problem immediately. But then we are looking at an Army where affirmative action and "feel good" philosophy is more important than war fighting skills.

As a Chief Master Sergeant I cannot understand how she has gotten to this point. Where is the Commander, XO and especially the other SNCO's? This is not something that happened overnight this is a cumulation of time and acceptance by those around her. As a Master Sergeant(E-7) I have had words with those that have outranked me about their appearance and how their behavior had an effect on the Mission. I never minced words and if I were anywhere near her we would have had a point of fact conversation.

You know what, I've seen a lot of people complaining about the way this went down, I don't see any other way it could have been fixed. I served in the real world Army, not the the fictional one most of these people are in. Command climate surveys, I.G. is all a load of crap. It is planned to take extended amounts of time to review to hope the person or persons loose interest. Bottom line is that sol called CSM is a POS, any CSM I served with would have butted her ass out on the spot and yanked that fake hair right off her head. But this is a weaker Army.

Obviously, from testaments and comments from privates up to officers, you failed as a senior NCO, I will only address you as CSM because that's your current title. I don't care if you are the CSM, but someone else is above you, and He is the one that failed the most. How can someone in-charge ignore this unbecoming. Complaints or comments coming from a service member is guaranteed to be ignored by the upper chain; but coming from parents or someone who's not in the military will be paid attention at the desk of a state representative, and that's a gurantee. (sooner or later if you do not straighten yourself, that's what's going to happen). You are only being followed because you are in a position; So, CSM, cut your damn hair, or fix it like how you want to see it from your female soldiers. Set an example, and follow the standards. We expect fuck-ups from new guys; but from you? a senior NCO? SHAME on you!

I just would like to know what happen to my Army, it caters to anyone that whines and cries anymore. Standards are Standards and need to be followed by everyone no matter what rank they are. If you can't wear the uniform right then get the F**** out of it and the Arm itself. This stands for all branches we have turned our Armed Forces into the Boys and Girl Scouts of America. But that is an insult to the scouts they still hold their members to standards lol. WTF this CSM seems like the exact reason I retired when I did this PC bullshit needs to have limits.
