So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

If this is true. I would like to personally apologize to the Soldiers for this poorly set standard of a CSM. As i was one myself. I am very disappointed in the behavior of a few in the current ranks who don´t lead by good example. I did my best while on duty to set the best example of what right looked like for officers and enlisted. CSM´s are the standard setters and enforcers. If you are guilty CSM of what i have read. Shame on you. Please retire immediately.

As a young CPL or SGT, I would have pulled her aside & respectfully informed her that her hair was below her collar/shoes were fashionable but not within AR 670-1/etc. If she chewed me out in response, I would go through the NCO CoC all the way up to SMA. But I can sit up here an pontificate all I want since I am no longer in. But this soldier is in my generation, so someone did not do any on the spot corrections with her as a junior enlisted or junior NCO. Or, she felt that her rank made her immune to Army regulations.

NCOs are the backbone of the Army. It's a damn shame that soldiers are allowed to get away with circumventing military regulations instead of admitting a mistake was made and correcting it. I've seen this under different circumstances with all races, genders, and senior enlisted/officer ranks. The military has changed from soldiers taking the hard right to doing the easier wrong.

Answers:
(a) Because it's the Army.
(b) Standards are low, and optional for Senior Enlisted / Commissioned personnel.
(c) Again... It's the Army, and everyone knows the Army is a bunch nasty asses that promote just about anyone. It's the result of having an "everyone's a winner" society bleeding into and moving up the ranks. Of course all this falls on the Senior personnel listed in (b). If you do your jobs, they'll do theirs. Now go do your damn jobs.

What's going on with our military it make me sad after I spent 27 years in the Army when I look at the pictures where is her superior officer and why did he let this go this far he should be much the blame for her to stand in front of a company that is a insult and she does not represent the uniform .Thank you.The General

In my own opinion, having worked in the EO office.. Her senior leadership may be afraid to push the issue too far or hard.. all it takes is an accusation of sexual harassment in an UN-offical capacity to ruin a career.. She, apparently has already pulled the .."I'm being harassed or picked on." card.. The CSM level is way beyond the level of the need for someone to tell you how to dress and act. Lord help her if she ever gets a female COL.. or comes across my old CSM.. she would eat that lunch...

Over my 25 years of service, regardless of my rank I had no problem to correct anyone in uniform. This include the Division Commander when I was Specialist E-4. I delt with female soldiers, those of different religions, and of different, colors. As a leader, a soldier is a soldier regardless of rank, color, sex, religion, etc.,. On must occasions I would be thanked by the individual for correcting there actions, uniforms, etc., and the problem was resolved. On a few occasions I had to bring the issue to there command. There were also times when I had to bring the issue further up the chain of command. Never once did I feel that a soldiers regardless of what ranks behavior, or failure to follow requlations, was the fault of the COC. Any leader that points the finger at someone else is not an effective leader.

As a SSG I had no problem with upholding the standard no matter rank. A CSM! Shame, worries me that my Army has a senior enlisted with such disregard for herself, rank, and the Army as a whole.
