So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

Appears she was "protected", in my humble opinion, she is doing or has done people in her Chain-of-Command.

thanks to 'Affirmative Action' & Political Correctness, that has gone completely out the window, First Sergeant, and now soldiers are too damn scared to say anything out of fear of repercussions

You handle the problem at the lowest possible level. Where the hell were the sevens and eights in this command? Any one or more of them could have pulled her over and had a little heart to heart with her about Uniform Regs, leadership, command environment etc. If you were there and said nothing, you were part of the problem and ought to get out of service until your left testicle drops. (Yes, I mean that for women as well. You need balls to do the job.) At my last command, I was the senior eight (Senior Chief) at the command. When the COB did silly shit that impacted the troops negatively, I called him on it. My old Master Chief used to tell us that if you valuue your anchors so highly that you let your troops suffer, you do not deserve to wear them. I did not pull my punches, and sometimes it was a toe to toe butt slam. Often, he would listen. I give him credit for that. Had he been of a different mind, then I would have pushed it up the chain to the CO, since the CMC is his direct report. I feel though that the seven and eight community in this command should have been able to handle one out of round E9, or failing that, go en masse to the CO and request action. Lead, follow, or get out of the road.

Honestly, I have to say that for a higher up to act this way, there's got to be something wrong upstairs. The first thing that I would do is have her physically and mentally evaluated because something is definitely wrong when you could laugh at the rehearsal to honor one of our fallen and be in a command position. I'm not going to say that she was doing that to be insensitive because when you're out there in the shit, some people lose their minds. So before I would take action in her case, I would want to be sure that she had ill intent. Of course I would reprimand her for her actions but I would want to be sure that her being a straight up asshole is the case or if there's something really wrong with her. I would immediately relieve her of her duties and at least appoint a temp in her position pending the outcome of her mental and physical eval. The reason why I would handle this carefully is because I would rather be sure of her intentions. Also, as for her telling the soldier that he took too long saying "Goodbye", she had no business doing that because we all are brothers and sisters, and if one of us have fallen, it's a very hard thing because you lost somebody close to you. So that being said, no one in charge of troops should so hardhearted to the point where they reprimand someone for paying their respects.

Disgraceful! I was in a long time ago; Vietnam era, stationed in Germany, and this would not have been allowed to happen. My MP battalion was outstanding, but we were kept to standards set by the Army. The best ass chewing I ever got was from a female Major who caught me outside without my cover! She was well groomed and to military standard; she looked like a soldier and she commanded respect. This woman is a disgrace and needs to be called on the carpet! Grow up lady, make yourself a model for you troops to follow. They can not have much respect for you this way!

As a fellow Senior NCO, I would pull them to the side as discretely address the issue as I would with anyone soldier. If the CSM failed to correct the deficiency, I would take it a step higher until someone within the chain takes action. I would not, however, force myself to make a mockery of the military branch I chose to serve or the NCO corps by plastering the CSM's name and face over the internet. But that's just me...

I agree that praise in public and censure in private is an excellent rule. It seems though that the NCO community and the Officer community in this outfit is somewhat on the deficient side. I understand the frustration that would make a person strike out any way they could, if day after day nothing was done to correct a bad situation. I have never met this person, but judging from the picture, she presents an arrogant, out of reg front to her troops and anyone else who sees her. There is no excuse for her peers and seniors allowing this to continue. The New Army must be a hell of a lot different than it was when I was in the Navy. I served from 64 to 91 and I do not think I ever saw Army personnel that far out of round during that entire time, and since I served on several amphibs I got to see a lot of them, along with many Marines, all of who would have been ashamed of this CSM. No Private would have attempted what I see here.

She will win her harassment case if anyone tries to "correct" her. I put correct in quotes because the definition of correct has become relative and politically charged. Our society and culture have breed her attitude and disrespect for the values of the Army. When the Army passed a regulation on how women's hair, attire and tattoos could be worn then they let it become about race and let the regulation be overturned based on "racial" grounds the battle was lost. What you have now is a new breed of military and the leadership has to kowtow to the hurt feelings or political correctness of its standards and norms. You have breed this new Army, you will never get the old Army back, and you will all have to get over it. Besides all of that she is a direct reflection of the poor leadership who has let her get away with her actions for so long.

Well she spent her whole career meeting lowered physical standards & getting promoted to meet diversity quota is mandated by SAF/MRD so I'm confident the idea of a standard is a little hazy to her.
