So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

In the surreal world, maybe have a couple of Specialists follow him to the latrine, and dunk his head in a clean toilet bowl. When he says, "Uncle", let him up for air and repeat.

It's women like this that make it extremely difficult for the rest of us to be taken seriously or treated professionally

Damn! I know her. She was the MP BN CSM in the 4th MEB in 2012. I only met her when they got back from a deployment and was not impressed. The BDE CDR liked her though.

What good is having rank if your not going to use it to improve your unit? As a First Sergeant I had no trouble correcting Sergeants Major when they needed it, some didn't like it very much, and some appreciated it, I just always thought who is going to speak up if I don't.

People making corrections = helping out. And, if senior leaders can't accept help from each other, they will fall - and hard.
It takes guts to make corrections like this, but it is a sign of loyalty to our profession as well. We will only be as good as our peers. We may be judged by the things we let slide more than the things we accomplish.

It starts at the top. Everyone has a supervisor/boss. Her boss allowed it in the first place and it went downhill from there. Some leaders no longer understand what it means to lead. Sorry situation all around.

I also saw on another site that she may be invited to DC for a personal appointment with SMA Daley. It was also stated that they are reviewing social media for unprofessional comments from active duty soldiers to take "corrective" action and remind those soldiers that regardless of the form of communication, they are still active duty and responsible for disrespect/ sexual harassment/ conduct unbecoming concerning this CSM.

I do not have a dog in the fight. From what I can see, it appears that maybe this service member needs to think seriously about retirement.

I agree that racist and sexist comments are unacceptable and that the Army is well within bounds to investigate individuals that make them regardless of the circumstances. On the other hand, the question that the Army also needs to ask is "what went so wrong that soldiers believed it necessary to take to social media for redress?"

There are both teachable moments and wake up calls at play here.

RP contains those who are / were military professionals and comport themselves as such. Race and sex are identifiers not the crux of the issue, leadership failures at many levels is the real issue.

Honestly, there needs to be an investigation of her former raters....Any who gave her a good rating needs to be dismissed from active duty for lying under oath...

CPT Russell Pitre Is the SMA's assistant still monitoring Rally Point? Will 'smoke' rain down upon this ridiculous example? When? By whom? Will 'they' announce that action has been imitated?

I thought he was on it himself. I am sure that he knows now. Now her boss in on the way to see her tomorrow. I am sure he got a few phone calls. I am wondering what the COL in the BDE is thinking about this.

I don't know if SGM Parsons is on RP. I do know he will not shy away from corrections. Even if it was just my deadlift form.

This really burns me, as a female, this makes it harder on all of us. I know we have been part of the military for years, but there are still men out there that use people like this to say this is why we shouldn't be in the uniform. While a junior troop shouldn't correct her, they can and should go to another Chief in the unit and tell them about it. The hair is clearly out of regulations - if this was my guard unit, they would be taken to the restroom by one our Lt in personnel and she would "help" you get your hair within regulations. One person was sent to get her bangs cut because they were too long. We sent men to the barber shop, if they come in with haircuts out of regulations, why should women be different? As for the heels, we all know that stilettos are not allowed with any branch of the services uniforms - it is generally (AF instruction) to be no more than 2 inches high with a flat or patent finish. Anything higher than 2 inches, is out of uniform. As the Chief of the unit, she is to set the example that all other enlisted troops should be following. Sounds like she got the job because of who she knew not by what type of troop she is.

It's a disgrace to the uniform and the Country. She should lose rank if not kicked out for dishonor.
