I don't know what to think about this other than I hate that he will lay next to the very people he hated and shamed for so many years. I don't see the headstone lasting very long. What do you think?

Regardless of his actions after his service, he was still a veteran and has earned the right to be buried in Arlington, while I do not agree with his choises after his service, he has the right set forth by the constitution to do so. The Constitution is a double edged sword, but it is the law of the land. It is disheartning to me that with his recent choices that he would be buried next to brothers and sister who died and he "thanked God" for thier death, it is by his past service to this nation that he has that right. I wonder if there will be veterans picketing his funeral as he did to our brothers and sisters, that is my only question as to how his familiy would react to this.  That is if this article is true....

Hence why I added, "If this article is true"  I was a little remiss that he may have been a CSM..  just my take.

NOT JUST NO; BUT HELL NO. It would be disrespectful to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines who served their country proudly and gave their all in doing so. I don't give a damn about what he did while he was in the Army, what he and his family did, and most likely will continue to do is in my opinion unconscionable and should disqualify him from this honor.

Well, let's think about this.  Everytime he, or his "family" was in the news, there were associations with the military.  Albeit, negative associations, but we (the military) made every headline he made.  Therefore, through him, we gain recognition due to his "ass-on-shoulders" mentality.  Everytime he made negative waves, we were raised up further for our positivity.  In a sense, he was our MVP.  How's that for putting a spin on things?

how can he be considered for burial at Arlington, after saying that the coal miners in WV who died in the coal mines in 2005 he referred to them as a bunch of faggots, and his church protested the funeral of many war veterans of Operation enduring freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He dropped out of West Point. Doesn't deserve the time of day from any Veterans. You don't finish your time you don't deserve a dime.
