I'm at North Fort and I've seen a few good places, mostly in Lakewood or Lacey. Married, no kids, don't wanna blow my whole BAH.

The closer you are to Post the hirer the cost. If you venture down into Lacey and further south your money will stretch a little further. The prices for housing in Pierce County have ski rocketed over the past 10 years.... start off by getting into an apartment or a duplex first...stick some money away and then if you are feeling froggy you'll have something to use for a house... just my 2 cents! I lived in Olympia straight shot on highway very nice area depending on what you looking for.
