All I can say personally, is she was an Innovative Pioneer, in the sense of entertainment world and on the red carpet in Hollywood.
She will be missed, I spent a couple of hours wathching her on E-News. I give my thoughts and prayers to her family and fans alike. She will be missed. I was a fan of Joan Rivers, she was so energetic!!

To be completely honest, her death had little impact. She was a part of society in which I have no links to, and therefore, had no emotional investment. She was a curiosity, sure. But that's about it. Certainly, she was no Robin Williams.

Condolenses go out to the family.  No other thoughts at all other than another Hollywood personality passed away!  So will the rest of us, none of us are coming out of this alive!  She will get the media attention, the talking heads will be all over talk radio/tv with this tale or that tale of insignificance  to 99.9% of us.  As it is with everything, the power of the media makes many insignificant acts seem to be significant because they flood the airways with it and no matter what channel you turn to..you're going to hear it!  Time to turn on some music and read a book for a few days.

Absolutely, 1SG (Join to see)...I feel regret for family, but like you said" None of us are coming out of this alive." She had lived the life of luxury, rubbed elbows with the stars, and experienced much more than the rest of us. Her life meant infinitely more to her loved ones. And that's just the way it is.

Honestly, if you gotta go, going under heavy anesthesia is definitely the way to do it. One minute you're awake, then next you're in euphoria, and then - out.

That's boring, sir! Getting your throat slit on Al Jazeera is a bit more exciting. Just kidding!

Personally I'd hate to die on a deathbed surrounded by grievers-to-be. I'll opt for giving ultimate sacrifice for some good cause, always thought anyway. Wanna live quality life and not be anyone's burden

When I die, I want somebody to procure a keg of whiskey, break out a stereo, and play hard rock until the sun comes up at the lake! And there better be some BBQ in the scenario. Roll Tide!!!

PO1 (Join to see) I used to think that way... now, I want the chance to say things. The most important thing I consider in my life is the chance to say some final words to my kids. Watching those beheading videos, I promise you that the final thoughts were about their kids and what they wanted to say to them.

SGT (Join to see), all I want for my funeral is to have 'keg on my coffin' played. Ironically I don't even drink, so that would be quite a twist of fate ;-)

don't care! When A general does not get any respect from the press except on Facebook and Fox news. it is a shame and we should be the ones to say so!
