When are military uniforms allowed at political rallies? I took this picture off my TV today at a Trump town hall meeting.

Who cares. There are bigger things to worry about than this. The same pogs that get upset at this would have devil dogged you in a fire fight for your boot blouse coming undone.

I'm late to this, but it takes a little time to toss that uniform on. It's not like he shuffled out of drill or his duty day ended and he was late for this, he's seated in an arranged spot so he could be seen. He wasn't strolling by and stopped to observe for 3 minutes. I hope we find out more.

For the record I think this is crap!! As soldiers we defend freedom and have the RIGHT which we defend to openly endorse any candidate!! These stupid rules are in place to try to quiet our voice!! If you don't want public criticism of the COC then that position should not be filled by a man who has to be elected every 4 years!!

I'm not in a position to judge, not enough information, it is entirely possible he is acting in an official capacity, if he is, then fine, if not, then he's wrong. Like I said, not enough information to make a clear judgement.

It's a "On the Record Town Hall" not a Trump town hall. If the event was set up by the campaign I can see where he would be in trouble BUT it looks like it is an event sponsored by Fox News NOT by the candidate. Does it look bad? Perhaps. Did he do something wrong? I don't think so...

Yay, everyone condemning this action is literate and capable of reading regulations. But guess what? Who cares? The rule about politics and uniforms was written during a time when service members did not have to worry about crappy service at the VA. It was written at a time when you could trust your politicians would not lie to the public to get support to go to war. It was written at a time when politicians cared for the military. Now that we don't live in that time anymore, service members have to look out for themselves since the DoD and the VA won't do it. If I wasn't currently deployed, I'd be sitting right next to him and dare anyone to do anything about it. So, feel free to get up on your soap box, quote a reg or two if it makes you feel better. It still won't stop this guy or anyone else who feels motivated enough to take a stand for something. I applaud this guy for his testicular fortitude. I'd put money on a bet that says nothing happens to this guy.

I believe this was an infraction even though the screenshot is from a debate rather than a rally. Support for the republican party might be inferred.
