the old running songs - yes they were sexist, racist, and x-rated, but boy they were fun

yeah...I got threatened with an article 15 for calling one back in '99 when I came to my first signal unit after being artillery for four years-good times lol

variety of units told me that I had to call cadence when marching troops around and i always refused on the basis of the change - not because of the change, i agreed with most of it, but because the way the army did it - after the change about '84 somebody complained in a letter to Army Times and the army's response was not that we don't sing those songs anymore - but that those songs never existed, denial of history is what gets me
