As a veteran who has been refused his valor, for the sole reason of ( the story of my awards is so crazy it must be fake ) I know first hand the anger that comes from someone claiming your not a vet but that your a fake. It should be illicit to refuse ones service, just because some fucknugget does not believe.

Stolen Valor is truly the worst thing you can say to a true veteran/enlisted member. I myself have experienced being told I was trying to say I had never served by people who never even walked into a recruoting station because I went out with my old platoon buddies to a restaurant and we were comped our meals on veterans day. I was furious, but I smiled and said nothing. The hardest part for any veteran (to me anyway) is feeling like you almost gave your life for ungrateful people like these.

Should never happen. All kids play and want to be military, but only few have balls to enlist.

Clowns that wear complete uniforms. are an insult to those that have earned the privilege to do so . Now I do not care if some Kid wants to wear a Fatigue Jacket or a shirt . That is one thing . But to wear a Complete Uniform should be Arrested. Under the UCMJ.

I have no problem with shaming or hearing someone shame another if they never worn the uniform!

I'm a civilian but I'm from a long line of military family. First off I'd like to say bless all who serve living or those who gave there all. I can't stand it, not only does it show disrespect to those who currently serve but to those who gave their lives and brought honor to the uniform to our country. I also understand that to many places don't offer military discounts I think that's also disrespect on the level. But if someone what's recognition earn it the right way not blimishing what others have done so much to put it in a position of respect and honor. As far as veterans wearing it on there jackets I agree your not always going to fit into what you wore something decade or more ago, that's the hell of getting old soldier or civilian. But they deserve the right to show there pride in the service they did. God bless the fighting men and women, and may all of them return home safely.
