Unspeakable and unthinkable as a proud ARMY daughter and mother of a United States Marine!

I have family that proudly served our country and it makes me sick to see people stealing their valor, they earned the honor from giving all they had to keep our country safe and they don't deserve to be mocked

Any time non veteran says,ge,is,obe,if,us, we should let everyone know what ,an ass hole they are,.

I think it should be stripped of them either on their own accord or by force. Just like a someone that orders a set of mc colors of the Internet and wears them in front of a real patch member. If you didn't earn it don't wear it!

I was in this FB debate with a kid who decided to start accusing me of lying about serving when he started losing the argument. He said he was going to turn me in to stolen valor and went on and on.
It made me angry. Like when someone sees my Vet hat and want to ask you 20 questions to catch you in a lie.
I don't play this game anymore. Say thank you for your service or ask what branch, maybe MOS and move on! Do I need to carry my DD-214?

Absolutely rediculous and there needs to be charges put in place to make this a criminal offense.

It is not stolen valor if the individual does not claim benefits for the stolen valor

I hate fakes like this but in another comment from george rudenko I have to say the same. Everyone with half a brain knew this guy was a fake.

I know someone (not family or friend) who was dishonorably discharged for stealing lap top from a fellow solider not long out of boot camp. Got caught trying to sell it. I don't know how to feel when he reaps the rewards on veterans day. Is he supposed to still get these kinds of rewards or is it wrong? I feel like it isn't right he goes places and claims vet status. Any thoughts?
