I think when it’s overwhelmingly obvious call someone out. As a vet I never have a problem verifying where I was or what I did.

It is an insult of the highest degree when some idiot has spent time in a prison boot camp and hasn't spent day one in the armed forces gets more credibility[I know quiet a few felons who claim this too] than a person has spent a certain amount of his life serving and defending his country, even if he or she didn't move up in the ranks I salute you for your service.

This shouldn't happen if you believe there is a true case of stolen valor be sure to check everything before causing a problem. If they didn't earn it they shouldn't get credit for it but if they earned that nobody should try to take that away. They putt their life on the line to protect us all and they deserve far more than they receive.

Is there some reason I can’t actually read the article, but can only see the comments and title of the article?
