When will TC 3-20.40 republication be available? What was wrong with the first publication?

Pretty sure the proponent is the doctrine office for the Director of Training (DOT) at MCoE. You might try and email them at [login to see] .

Roger I read the article and have this information. Before I jumped straight to emailing them I figured I could ask first and see if anyone on here might have the answer. But thank you for the info you provided. MSG

I didn't read an article, I looked up the publication on APD and seen that the proponent had removed it at the end of Sep and expected it back up in three weeks. I know how staffing goes so I would have bet it wouldn't be back up in three weeks. My guess is by now the one of the doctrine developers can probably bring you up to speed on either the tables (if they are not what's changing) or a projected timeline.

MSG Gary Eckert exactly what I saw as well. Didnt know if anyone had seen the first one or not. I read the article of the Wyoming national gaurd that tested it first and what was said about the making of it and the differences there are. And I'm sure itll definitely take longer than 3 weeks. Just very interested in seeing how this will affect units across the army. I think it will be a good change and a much needed push for more range time. Even in the 82nd it's mostly zero then qual range time. Everyone complains that soldiers cant qual on the old standard. I wonder why when they have no range time outside of zeroing...

SSG (Join to see) maybe it's because the tasks in table 1 and 3 dont match the respective weapon TC's and they are still waiting for those tasks to be approved.
