I have a friend of a friend who is working on a really cool project for his Master's degree project. He will be traveling to American Samoa in July to photograph and interview Samoan veterans. Apparently American Samoa has the highest enlistment, as well as causality, rate of any state or territory. It's interesting you asked that I didnt know any from Samoa when I was in however one guy in my first class (I recycled so I basically went through twice with a second class) at USAF OTS was from Guam , just figured I'd mention it, what you asked just brought it to mind, hope was of interest, many thanks.
