Where can I get a good set of jump boots?

There's tons of little shops outside of Yadkin gate. Recommend you check there first.

At the surplus stop outside of Yakin gate where the class six is. The store is less then a mile outside the gate on the left.

I've been doing this Airborne thing for a few years now and here is my honest opinion: 1) familiarize your self with DA PAM 670-1, para 23-3 a(4); 2) avoid used boots. You might get a surprise after reading what is authorized! Also, all leather black boots are no longer part of the clothing item list so you don't get clothing allowance for them.
