Helping people and repurposing items most throw away. I have to remind myself that I can't and shouldn't try to fix everybody's challenging situations but that's rewarding to me. The repurposing is like therapy when I can redesign a piece of furniture and make it useful again.

I am happiest when I see the fruits of my labor manifesting as they are. My military dependent children are grown now. They are respectable, independent and self-sufficient. Most of all, they
appreciate the military culture, respect the current serving men and women and they appreciate the way of life it has afforded not only me, their mom, but them.

Now a days it is when I'm out saltwater fishing. It used to be hunting but after moving to Florida, I haven't had a chance to go hunt.

Walking on a desolate beach seeing the power of the ocean and feeling the power of the wind. Takes me away from all the stresses of everyday life and clears my head of demons and issues to solve. Fine white sand between my toes and sun beating on my shirtless chest - it's all nature and natural. Love it!

I am happiest in music stores.
Not just any stores but massive warehouse type stores with vintage synthesizers and sound equipment from years passed .
They normally are not busy places however the few people that are usually there share the same interest as you and easily chat for awhile .
There’s actually only one store in NJ that provides that experience for me so usually a once every couple years thing .
