DA Pamphlet 670-1 should bridge the gap between AR 670-1 and this VERY old continuation regulation. If you’re specifically looking for the old guidance (maybe to set up an authentic Vietnam Vet uniform or some other extracurricular activity), check out the below link.

Everything I tried to find states that it worked in conjunction with AR 670-1, but 670-2 no longer exists. It hasn't for at least 30 years. The most recent version of AR 670-1 that I could find that even mentions it is AR 670-1 dated 1 November 1981.

You can invent a time machine.......travel back in time.......or you could find some retired Vietnam era SGM that might remember it. Other than that.......I would check Amazon.

I already invented the time machine and destroyed it right after because I didn’t want to mess with space-time continuum.

I would guess that Army S-1's function very similar to Marine Corps S-1's. See your Battalion Adjutant, he/she should have a list of current/active regulations, and hard copy or digital copy of the same.

SSG Duke Allen - I've been out for 25 years. We still did company level admin in pencil back then. And a smart phone was a private that had some college under his belt and could do a call for fire over a PRC-77.

Once again, not to sound dumb repeating myself, Google doesn’t have all the answers specially about the military things. If I were to have access into the ADP, which I don’t have, I wouldn’t have ask the question in the first place.
