no where good....it is a display of ignorance and a sense of entitlement....we are losing our work ethic and it shows, people believe they are entitled to getting something for absolutely nothing, no hardship/no sacrificing for our country but the expectation is that they are owed something because they are breathing while our Service Members are breaking their backs!

Sgt Spencer Sikder HOME RUN! I have taught some college science, geology, math, astronomy. Kids in HS going to college are in large clueless. Many ultra conservative school districts limit of try to get science not to teach evolution. PC prevents real discussion about teen sex issues. I had explorers in law enforcement and 5 over a 7 year period fathered or bore a child below the age of 18.

There is a systemic limitation on teaching as pontificated from politicians and administrators. Historians have spent uncountable time collecting and publishing, only for .... teachers fail to get the instruction accross, kids don't care, history isn't a state test model emphasis.

As the cop in me, HISTORY IS LAW. We would have a much better minded youth if they learned about the real American histlory.

Blame it on a lot of things. I am dumbfounded at what my children do and don't learn in school. More time spent on math and science and less, IMHO, on History and English. The teachers/districts have to make sure they keep big brother happy so they can continue to fund their schools on the Feds dime. And then we have too much info at our fingertips today as well. It's spent on a lot of less productive things. To hell in a hand basket.

Ok. My rants done.
