This is a fun survey to get an idea of how diverse we are as a service. Different regions of the US have different cultures and traditions, different speech patterns. However, it is interesting how much we grow as a person and service member when we are exposed to the world and other's views. So where do you come from?

I'm from Southeast Tennessee; but always hated it there. I felt much more "at home" when I was stationed in Colorado (Buckley AFB). In regards to your point on how it is "interesting how we grow as a person when exposed to other parts of the world", it couldn't be more true. I'm stationed in Bahrain, (Ramadan is in full effect) and it's definitely opened my eyes to how different the day to day routine is vs life in America.

PO2 (Join to see) I felt the same way when I was stationed in Italy. I loved it but at the same time you begin to miss the little things that remind you of home. Family get togethers, indoor malls, movie theaters, sweet tea (real sweet tea), BBQ and a million other small things.

PVT (Join to see) I was stationed in Wichita for my last duty station! I loved the area, really miss that drive-in theater. You don't really see those much anymore!
