Which drug do you think more people in the army struggle with than others?

Do you think it changes often? I know my answer has changed over the years.

What program have worked for your Soldiers?

MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca I was lucky, my recruiter was honest and didn't screw me over at all. We got off on a pretty good foot as I'm second gen Marine.

I hear a lot of terrible things about recruiters, but just from my own experience with my recruiter I have a hard time believing some of the stories I've heard over time. My question is are recruiters really as terrible as many people make them seem? I can't relate because my recruiter is actually Top 3 in the nation so I had a relatively great experience from the start.

LTC (Join to see). Most studies report alcohol and prescription drug addiction . . . which are also often involved in suicides . . . not illicit drug use. Good programs include AA and many other twelve step programs. Warmest Regards, Sandy

Pain meds are the big one now. Hydromorphine, Oxycodone(Oxycontin) Xanex are badly abused. Did a lot of death investigations because of pain med overdoses. We actually in Arkansas were doing a study on it when I left the department.

I'm going with alcohol on this one. If you've ever run road guard at the rear of Monday morning PT you'll know why.
