Veteran with books
I have far exceeded the hourly requirement for a Bachelor's Degree, and already hold 3 Associate's through CCAF. I am looking for on-line universities that you have attended that were:
1-Good on accepting transfer credit/experience
2-Not big on lots of "community" projects (working on things with other students).
3-Good on being flexible with their "adult" students.

I am in the market and value the opinions

SO.....a year later, settled on Columbia Southern University. It is "brick and mortar" and on-line, out of Orange Beach, AL. So far, so good, just taking the classes. Taking Criminal Justice, and so far all the Professors have been cops, and helpful.
If anyone were looking for a recommendation, CSU is working for me.

Considering cost and flexibility, I'd recommend Liberty University Online (LUO)...even rhough work is intense, but I consider it qualitative education.

I am a fan of Western Kentucky University, The school can be 100% online, the loan books to troops at no cost but return shipping. They offer a fixed rate tuition for Bach and Masters degrees that do not exceed 250$ per credit hour. The school has been there for me and have been over back words to get me in to the degree program the fits me best. I can take normal classes at 18 weeks , 9 weeks or the offer go at your own pace classes and they give you 1 ful calender year for each go at your own pace class.

I would highly recommend National University! They assigned me to a military advisor that worked with me throughout my college education including helping me register for classes. She walked me through everything step by step. All of my credits from military and a community college transferred over. They had alternate assignments if I couldn't make the class chats or they were recorded so I could listen to them later. If anybody wants more information, let me know. Oh and they didn't require or encourage community activities either.

If you just need Points (Not in the Airforce, but I would assume like the Army, points dont matter after E6) you could try NCI, paid them money and they gave me credits.

SGT Suraj Dave I am looking for the shortest "accredited" route to bachelors. But has to be accredited. Will check it out, although it sounds as if it will not be accredited. Thanks

It was regionally accredited, the U.S. Military accepted it, though i dont think anyone else would...

NCI won't be respected in the civilian sector as it's only nationally accredited. As a result, very few schools will accept their credits.

I went to Northcentral University. It was the only 100% online fully accredited school for psychology. They have other programs too CMSgt James Nolan and their military liason is a retired Army CSM. They are exceptional with the military, allowing me long periods of absence between surgeries (sometimes in the middle of a class--if the Army sprang one on me). They never charge a penny over the max allowed by TA. I hope you like writing though!

SFC Mark Merino Ha. The better point would be "hope they like reading" because I always have something to say! Thank you, will take a look. I was in a accelerated class to finish by BS then 9-11 hit and we deployed and the school I was going to fought with me over my tuition. THAT pissed me off.
