Jersey City, NJ. I was 17. My mom had to sign a release for me to join. Given the people I was hanging out with and the direction I was heading she was extremely eager to do so.

I enlisted from Centralia Wash, also went back to find the SOB who signed me up to (ehem) discuss all the lies he told me, there was no Winnebago, no pool, no spa and the food was NOT 5 star.
