With the Army changing its dress uniform, physical fitness uniform, and now its combat uniform which do you predict will be changed next?

I hope none. I believe the force is weary of uniform changes. The ACU-OCP is a welcome change over the ACU-UCP but it’s time for some uniform stability. However, if we changed our dress uniform to the WWII khakis, I would welcome the change.
I remember a few years back they ran a survey on what dress uniform Soldiers preferred. Everyone I knew, including myself, voted for the WWII-era khakis. I’m not sure who voted for our current blue dress uniform. In my opinion, it looks like a bus driver’s uniform.

We could always mimic the Marine Corps and have the green dress class A and a forms dress blues

Thank you 1SGT for calling it ACU-OCP / ACU-UCP.
I have seen younger E5s ‘correcting’ older soldiers who called their uniforms ‘ACUs’ and not ‘OCPs’.

Army blues look like bus drivers? Try Air Force blues... we are actual bus drivers

The dress blue uniform was great for formal occasions but as a class A it’s horrible especially when bloused!

Please give us a nice class B uniform. Dress blues are nice but the class B looks like a mall security guard. Bring back the khakis!

SSG (Join to see) - That was traditional Army stuff. I remember using it in ROTC. However with mode StaBrite and perm press you don't need those things anymore with any uniform. Now with the current boots you dont need shoe polish either (much to the chagrin of Drill Sergeants!)

A garrison uniform will be made that is entirely created from reflective PT belt material.
We will still have to wear PT belts with it.
OK, seriously, probably further changes to uniform items made for wearing armor in the field, with coolant stuff (that won't work or requires a 35-lb battery) and pockets mounted at odd angles. The pockets will be designed for ammo magazines but will mostly end up carrying Power Bars or similar pogey bait.

Is it possible to get PT belts with rhinestones in them? I'd like to accessorize if I could. Could the Army allow Tiffany's or Hermes's to design out next dress uniform? I'm sure that would be affordable with the clothing allowance and all. Or could they design a Cochran 1 boot where none of it has to be shined yet it stays shined all the time? I hated that boot, and leather luster wasn't allowed by 1SG. Or built in Miles gear in the uniforms? Or how about an opening at the bottom of the multi cam top that dispenses pre filled 4856's so you can truly be counseled at any time anyplace?

That's why it's all digital now! Once a Sergeant-Major at TRADOC unlocks "cut and paste" technology, we're in for a rough ride!

Get rid of the dress blues and bring back the pinks and greens from WW2. I hate the dress blues, i liked the greens better.
