Good for you, and I agree. Good or bad, each experience should be used as a tool to move forward with your life.

Hi Sir!
No regrets! I would not have the wonderful opportunities that I have, right here, right now in time. All my decisions, good or bad--all my experiences, good or bad, brings me to this very point in time. And life is good. :)

It is good to hear that you are at peace with your career and all of your experiences. You are absolutely right about treating all of your experiences and learning events to better yourself in the future.

Only regret is not becoming a warrant officer sooner in my military career.

The big regret I have is the toll it took on the body and mind. That's the battle you can't leave behind. It's hard to regret doing stuff that most people won't understand but you do and seen the difference you've made.

I regret some of the things I've said, some of the things I've done, and some of the things I left undone. But overall, not bad for a mere human. We have to accept what and where we are before we can move forward.

Great response Sir and thanks for sharing. I am still very active with PT, running races and playing sports and although I have had one shoulder surgery, one quad tear and one calf/achilles tear, I am hoping to make it to retirement without any more significant issues. There a few of situations that I wish turned out differently but I have moved on from those and used those situations as a tool to learn from for the future. I think once I stopped trying to be perfect, my control of maturing and expanding my leadership and technical abilities took off for the better.
