The Marines. The rest don't seem to have been designed for combat. Unless, of course, you will be fighting in a parallel universe.

While Multi-Cam still takes number 1 in my book, I am jealous of the Marines combat shirts. Way better then the ones we use in the Army.

The best looking is a tie between the army scorpion and marines marpat. The best of the two goes to the marines for going with a uniform and sticking with it without changing their minds, what seems to be, every five minutes.

I will say that the person who initiated this thread left out one probably because they knew it was the over all best. Its been worn by many , has been worn in different Branches, and has saved countless lives time and time again...The Ghillie Suit.My vote goes for this !!!

I would say the Marine Corps does followed by the AF blues and the Navy.

All of the Cammo patterns are intentionally good in there Un intended areas of use.

Army- Paintball range at night while using NVG's
Navy- Coal mine
Air Force- in the rough on #3 dogleg
Coast Guard- Jiffy Lube pit
Marines- In the bunker next to Air Force on the #3 Dogleg

But in all seriousness, the Multicam, Mirage and the variants seem to be the best all around. followed by the old Woodland and 5 color Desert. The new stuff belongs in Vogue Magazine.

I believe there should be a Garrison specific uniform for each branch if they so choose to separate the services. BUT for a combat scenario, Cammo patterns should be chosen Service wide for the environment at hand to best save your ass! Subtle differences can be achieved for specific branches with Insignia. This idea of who can look the best is Stupid. The whole idea if cammo is to blend in with the environment or geographic region. All service branches should wear the same when in that specific area. Being in different uniforms is likened to singling out the Officers by saluting in the field. Stupid idea IMO. And before you say its too expensive, A unit can do away with 1 vehicle to pay for the differing uniforms for a specific combat deployment. The money is there, its just being allocated in the wrong way. So if there are 6 different cammo patterns that work, So be it!

Navy type II or type III NWU. For the complainers on the Navy NWU ( the blueberry nightmare) it's not designed to hide you or blend with the ship. It's designed to hide grease and paint spatter and still remain a serviceable uniform.

Army isn't practical because it doesn't blend in with anything except maybe a busted tv. The Marine Corps actually has a practical one with the winter uniform (the green one for those who don't know). That is why I voted for them. Navy is practical too but I can see it only working for a Navy Seal. I don't know where the Air Force would need to blend in but it isn't half bad. The only one that looks piss poor is the Coast Guard. I just feel like it could use an update.

In my opinion I believe it is extremely wasteful to have have different uniforms for all the branches. I would support a climate/geographic specific pattern but again it should be used by all services.

That depends on what u classify as best for example which one blends better with multiple surroundings or which one we think is the best because we think its cooler looking personally I say the marines is the best for concealment but the armys is pretty practical minus all the dang Velcro but if we r going on looks and what looks cool I say navy hands down I just like the color of it
