The late George Carlin loved to highlight how entertaining politicians can be. They do give us lots to shake our heads at, sigh in disgust, or simply laugh at the sheer audacity.

I always find this preprimary phase of the presidential election quite entertaining. It is circus of gaffes. Sorta like the first round of every season of American Idol. Send in the clowns to warm up the crowd.

So at this stage, who would you say is the most entertaining POTUS candidate so far? What makes him or her so entertaining?

Trump. It's almost like he doesn't care whether or not he wins. He just wants to throw haymakers at the others.

First, his TV show was an entertainment venue. Quite popular for awhile too. Trump knew how to ramp it up to gain viewers. He hasn't lost those skills. For sheer entertainment value, he is fun to watch. I don't believe 2/3 of what he says - and he probably doesn't either. But he knows how to draw attention to himself. He is footing his own bill, so he has free reign. Call it reality TV. But in the end, all shows get cancelled

To me they all are because they truly think they will change this country. No matter who is in the office of the President the other party will do everything in it power to prevent them from achieving their goals.

I want to say Trump, I really do. I've just met too many people that are happily drinking the koolaid because they confuse his lack of concern with public opinion with truth telling. He just says whatever he wants, who cares about facts? His popularity is...disconcerting.

Seriously, Trump by a long shot. A small part of me actually wishes he became President.

I think it's a draw...among all 16 republicans and the 3 democrats. Why you ask, and I'm glad you did...they all are trying to pull the wool over eyes of the American people...with a straight face. We'll see who has the last laugh.

I think Sanders is probably the only one actually telling the truth. He's not really electable though because of his solutions. Except with regards to gun control, he's a straight up, real liberal.

I think you're probably correct, about being elected, as for gun control, i don't trust a man that's not packin' :)

The whole thing is entertaining. Sometimes its better than going to local comedy club to see all these people walking over each other for a chance to run for President.

Definitely the Donald. Love him, like him, hate him, don't have an opinion one way or the other you've got to admit he's said some pretty remarkable things!
