Who is the most ridiculous candidate to ever run for President of the United States in the last 40 years?

We know about all the big time POTUS candidates. But what about those fringe, and maybe bizzare candidates who run for President? Who is or was the most ridiculous candidate to run for President? As a bonus question, who do you THINK may be a real candidate who competes in the 2020 elections?

Lyndon LaRouche hands down CH (MAJ) William Beaver. He was a thorn in the side of the democratic party for a couple decades as he kept throwing his hat into the ring. After he was in prison that was more difficult.
He believed that England was the evil empire and that all evil emanated from the British royal family. He lived and operated near where have been living for the past 20 years or so. I used to debate his disciples outside of firehouse primaries in northern Virginia in the 1990s.
