I have found a place, owned and operated by veterans, for veterans, who do quartermaster-like services for TA-50 for PCS/ETS. I have flyers and can post their information via their permission.

Enter the E-4 mafia. Say there PVT, here is how we do things. I give you my old gear and you give me the new stuff and I turn it in. When you are ready to leave do the same. If anything every breaks just turn it in to supply for a new once. This is the way that it has always been. Bwahahahaha.

At one point in time (the good ole 4-25) that would have worked.

SSG Steven Dowell - 82nd Abn. ~ 1991. Privates were very guliable and gun shy of rank at the time. Must have been the D.I.'s of that era leaving an impression.

I paid around $30 to have some of my stuff cleaned by 10-20 services at JBLM. No issues with turn in afterwards!

10-20 is awesome! Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Hey so this is pretty important. I would hope that their prices are reasonable because the place suggested by CIF charges out the ass, owned and operated by civilian contractors. Especially compared to my old unit where it was free to get everything cleaned and squared away on post. Fort Richardson did it right.

Yeh I miss Richardson. This place says its 100$ for 20 "items". I took my stuff there and it came back remarkably clean, and one "item" is actually a set. For example: Entire riflemans Kit- 1 item.
