Who takes the time to do research before voting? Some things I see shows me that people do vote based on why the see on the surface

I start early learning all I can about all of the candidates, and rank them according to how they match up to principles I find to be most important (foreign policy, economic policies, fidelity to the Constitution, military support, etc.). As the field thins out I always have the best (or least bad) in mind for my support.

Our issue isn't that we don't do the research, but why we are doing the research. Is it to dig up dirt or to determine the best candidate, based on their experience and policy positions?

I think people do, instead of researching and paying attention to their stances on the political agenda from state to state or meeting to meeting, they vote for the little that they're exposed to instead of paying attention to how wishy-washy they are and how they cater to whoever that they are speaking too at the moment.

SSG James Elmore I am voting for the same third party candidate that I voted for last election cycle. I have seen first hand that he is qualified. I did research last election cycle. This election cycle, I am voting for him again.
