Hypothetical question, Every state in the US goes to war with each other (not trying to bash people's home states by any means). Which state would do the best, which states would do the worst and why. Throw anything out there!! States teaming up, or just running a muck. Say you factor Soldiers into play, then assume they will go back home and fight along with their state.

Ok yes we probably would because we are somewhat of a proud people :D but first we'd win the war of the states because nothing is more important in Texas than bragging rights.
SGT Jaynes, that's very possible considering a large portion of Michiganders are 1. Descendants of some hard-core, war-loving Vikings and 2. Always pissed off because it's so cold up there.

Wow you just showed me how typical my thought process is...as soon as you said "not well known as an Agriculture Center" I thought "the hell we aint, have you seen our beef??!"
But I see what you meant. You meant fruit and vegetables lol.

I'm going to have to go with my home state..Texas!! nothing like the pride of this state plus if you include that roughly 1 in 10 in the military as a whole is from the Lone Star State then we have some pretty good numbers of personnel already trained

As silly as this is (Im from Arizona btw...)
Texas. Texas simply has everything the other states cannot afford. They have land, petroleoum, natural gas, self sustaining energy, plenty of military bases, and the worlds 14th largest self sustaining economy. With odds like that, they d be hard to beat.
Keep in mind that I said they have everything the other states do not. Only one that would come close is California.

Ahhhhh snap Auburn came to town...still, Roll Tide! Definitely a house divided around the Walden clan.
Sgt Newman, USA Today and numerous articles beg to differ. http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2013/06/15/states-with-the-fastest-growing-economies/2416239/
Google Texas Economy and read the articles, its amazing with what its been doing. And yes, if Texas had to, it could sustain its self. It has the agriculture, the power, the land, the resources, and the will to use it all. Like I said, its a fair bet that Texas would outshine all if it ever came down to it.
METT-TC folks, METT-TC.
While the national economy has grown, some of the country's largest state economies, including California and Texas, increased at an even faster rate due to booms in various sectors.

California wouldn't be able to do anything as their state government couldn't decide what to do, to much infighting.
SGT Newman, Actually Texas could be considered self-sustaining, before the POTUS's last presidential run, Texas was the only state out of 50 that was operating in the black, that was the reason for the big push for secession from the country as every other state was in debt because of what the administration and Congress have created for the country, Texas was the only state not stressing over the national debt as they were capable of surviving if an civil war against DC were to occur, they have enough assets to close off the state and be self-sufficient.

SGT Newman, the feasibility of Texas becoming self sustaining is significantly higher than many of the other states. As mentioned before, many would have to merge in order to conserve and mix assets for the greater good.
