I'm sorry, but I am slightly confused by your question. Are you asking who we would like in the cabinet based on our military experience or are you asking specifically which military members we'd like to see in the cabinet?

My top picks are:

Maddog Mattis - Secretary of Defense
Dr Carson - Secretary Health and Human Services
Gary Sinise - Secretary of Veteran Affairs

I don't know a Marine alive that doesn't love General Mattis. Just his reputation alone would help to give our enemies pause. Dr Carson was my original choice for President. But just because he dropped out doesn't mean he can't do some good. If he can fix the healthcare and insurance mess that would be a great relief to the general public. Now I know Gary Sinise is an actor and probably not able to take away from filming schedules to fill the position, but this is my wishlist after all. To me, he seems like the genuine article. A real stand-up guy. He already devotes a large portion of his time to the troops and disabled veterans. I truly believe he understands our plight and if anyone could fix the VA, he'd be the guy that could do it.
