Why are there anti-Trump protesters at the RNC when they can just protest by not voting for him at the ballot box?

What is the expected outcome of people coming together to protest one candidate? Isn't it more productive to rally around your candidate of choice instead?
I doubt that the majority of those protesters are from Cleveland and could use their financial resources and time providing support to HRC, Gary Johnson, Mickey Mouse, or whomever else they want to support.

CW5 (Join to see) Most are simply idiots who want attention and many are paid to be there by Democrat supporters, like George Soros, to create trouble. A great many have no clue what they are protesting.
Their right to protest/demonstrate -- in accordance with the law -- should be supported, however, those who step outside the law should be immediately arrested, using whatever force reasonably necessary.

But couldn't George Soros do something more productive for his preferred candidate? If anything, when protesters turn violent, it makes their movement/group/political party look worse especially when the supposedly evil side is peaceful.

CW5 (Join to see) - Well Soros is HRC's largest campaign contributor, over $7mil and counting, pretty productive...lol

CW5 (Join to see) - Soros and his ilk rely on chaos to obtain his goals. He uses puppets. like Obama, who is more of a racist community organizer/agitator than President of the United States, to do his bidding.

One reason is only 21 states have open primaries. So the people in states that have closed primaries have every right to complain. Voice not heard especially by independents!!

Interesting thought.
Maybe if there could be enough support early on then some of the other parties could get on the ballot. For some reason, there was no ongoing support for Gary Johnson until after it was too late and Trump got all the delegates.

Because they want to cause a RUKUS...and show their ASS and make fools of themselves...but MOSTLY they want to STIR up TROUBLE...and cause fights...and try and RUIN it for everyone at the RNC...because they are TRUMP haters...isn't it funny that it's the DEMOCRATS that are always stirring up the trouble...whether it's through BLM group or others like it...with Obama and Hilary helping stir the pot with the comments thru twitter or whether it's starting trouble at all of the Trump events...You don't see many republicans acting like FOOLS.
