I am not sure about other branches but I cannot even give a number on how many times I have had a male service member approach me asking if I would address a female service member for their uniform appearance. (Which mind you I will gladly do for them!) I have also personally been approached by other female service members for small fixes that were reported to them by male personnel. I am always thankful for my fellow service members helping me to make sure I am squared away. I have also seen this with junior personnel being uncomfortable addressing senior personnel if they are out of regs. We are all professionals. I am hoping to gain some insight on this!

Why is it so hard for males to correct females? Since I have been in it has only been a few that I see will correct a female. Some come to me and ask me to go correct them and some ask me to go with them. We all need to make sure we know AR 670-1 on the male and female end.
