Why do you think the Army is choosing to change its uniforms in 2015?

Why is it that in a time when the Army is worried about funding and not long after most of the BDU gear has finally been retired they are wasting money on new uniform pattern which means all the current gear has to start changing which is expensive and will likely take the next decade to bring to complete fruition

Ok so why not wait until there are more funds available to do it at this point only leaves the training budget with less money and we all know that training is becoming more of what we actually do with the winding down of deployments leaving alot of soldiers sitting around with nothing but training to do the Military could save ALOT of money by joint uniforms and gear as well as instalations why do we need a marine, a soldier,and a airman with the same MoS financially it would make sense to combine the forces into one branch one uniform on budget US Military

I don't understand it either, we keep changing uniforms whether it is the ACUs or the IPFU. I just wish we could come up with something that works and stick with it.
