Why does it appear that the a majority of the Military want to see Trump in Office?

Probably because, for the most part, Republican leaders have tended to strengthen the Military and improve conditions, weaponry, and treatment of the Military. Democrat leaders have, for the most part, done the opposite.

I can't speak for the majority. I can only speak for myself. You'll have to wait and see if the majority agrees with me or someone else...
The truth as I see it is that the military has fallen off the political radar. We are the black sheep of the family in the eyes of the nation's elite, a necessary evil. The Democrats distrust us. We show disdain for the current President and his Democratic allies, thus they do not anticipate our votes. Fortunately for them, we are the smallest minority in America and don't have any political clout.
The Republicans expect our vote much like the Democrats expect the black and Jewish vote. And like the black and Jewish communities, we don't get any love in return.
Trump is neither Republican nor Democrat, not by any objective standard. The established leaders of both parties revile him. Thus, the enemy of our enemy is our friend? Could be...
