I have a FB account and that is only because my extended circle of family and friends are using it. Trust FB ... never! But I am using FB to help push a conservative agenda and get our narrative out into the public. In light of recent revelations that FB "filters out" conservative trends, at some point I will find an acceptable alternative to it in the world of social media.

Same reason I haven't deleted my FB account. All my cousins and friends refuse to use email. I hate FB.

I connected with FB to find mutual contacts on RP..but I block RP from Facebook. I invited 25 people yet don't get the credit for it. I chalk it up to a crappy system.

After FB's hack I disconnected my link to RP. Linked accounts is asking for trouble and I find it only benefits them not us.

The real question is why do you consider it an important goal to be 100% on an online forum profile. It seems inconsistent for someone who will not create an FB account

Why because I like RP and don't like FB? I would figure that's easy to understand. We all have something in common here. that's not the case with FB

So connecting to Facebook is what bothers you but disclosing your security clearance doesn't. Seems the priorities are off.

I don't chose to not have a FB account because of information about me. I chose not to because I don't like the BS and little kid crap and I don't like there underhanded sensorship

Those are all perfectly reasonable reasons for avoiding facebook. I was merely remarking how connecting with facebook is less of a security risk than disclosing your clearance level for the world to see.

Everything you said Mark. When active, I get all the social media on RP I can deal with.

But I wear my badge to and from work and all stops in between. So everyone sees it. When you work for places like I do in St. Louis. People are use to seeing those badges. Been part of St. Louis for over 50 years.
