Perhaps it's because a lot of people who knew dirt or might have blown the whistle on the Clintons came up dead. Since Hillary is partly responsible for this, people may be worried about bringing her to the limelight.

Bad inference. I have no problem finding media coverage about Benghazi...broadcast, print, online, or otherwise. Therefore, the "why" and the "ignore" parts of your question don't need to be addressed.
