Why don't my privacy settings against my name and photo include civilians?

Good question. Add: Why should civilians be allowed to come here and be anonymous?

As one of the anonymous civilians about whom you are "concerned", I have locked down my RP profile to limit who can see my information and to prevent trolling on my LinkedIn and Facebook accounts. You are welcome to connect with me, at which point you will be able to see all of my information. Most people appear to me as SSG (Anonymous) or SN(Anonymous), or *Rank* (Anonymous)with a grey silhouette, so you are not visible to me, either. If I reply to a comment/contribution you make, you are again tagged as *Rank* (Anonymous), unless we were connected. I am associated with Team Rubicon http://www.teamrubiconusa.org/

They do. Civilian count as "public" in your privacy settings. Civilians can see no more or less than somebody who doesn't even have an account.
