It seems I was wrong in my initial statement. the potus did give a 3 minute speech about Chatanooga...however...... watch it carefully. He is in a chair, slumped down...not even sitting up right...he should have been standing...he talks slow and low and almost mumbles part of the speech...there is no show of feeling or concern...it's like a motion he had to go through to give this speech. then Google trayvon or gray or brown...he's standing...he's firm...he's speaking out loudly and showing anger and concern....I do not see any of this in this lousy 3 minute speech he gave about Chattanooga.

Not so. He did make comments about it from the Oval Office the next day. Don't get me wrong: the SOB has made a number of visits to, what shall we say, sites of certain ethnic deaths. The man is an unabashed racist and he is an anti-military president. He plays a game of looking like he cares for the Media. He's done all he's going to do. And it was pathetically little.

oh please...what comment? He lit up the white house in Rainbow colors..but could not light it up red, white and blue for the 4th of July....he got on TV and called the family of Trayvon Martin, Gray and Brown....but he has done nothing to make contact with the men who were shot to death ....and he has made no move to reach out to Kate Steinle's family either. His priorities are in the wrong place. He could and should lower the flag to half mass....he should get on TV and announce that this sort of thing should not have happened and that it deeply sorrows him and he wishes the family's of the slained military men his sympathy and deepest sorrows just as he did with Martin, Gray and Brown.

Sgt Kelli Mays - alrighty then. I stand corrected. It seems he did make a comment.,...though he didn't seem very genuine in his concern all slumped down in his chair, and speaking so low and quite I could hardly hear what he was saying.

Sgt Kelli Mays - If he said those things you mentioned, Kelli, he would be lying just like he has since he started running for political office in Illinois way back when!!!

The victims wernt black, illegals or Muslims. He never really said anything about the SF shooting either.
This president is extremely racist.

Thankyou. Curious to find out if he's going to admit it was an act of terrorism and by who. Hes never quite able to.

Sgt Jay Jones - yep, he made a statement alright...but watch it carefully.

Sgt Packy Flickinger - so far, his track record of NOT being able to say the word "TERRORISM" I seriously doubt he will.

He also used a lot of "umms" indicating he was just spouting crap he thinks people want to here. Weres the passion when hes defending a black man with a mile long arrest record who was just shot. Its obvious where his priorities lie. As with the Marine in Mexico or the hostages in Iran, its certainly not with the military. Except ofcourse, if its a deserter and sympathizer. Then he released terrorist leaders for him.
Whats sad, is how many people defend these actions.

The President Delivers a Statement on the Shooting in Chattanooga, TN
President Obama delivers a statement on the shooting in Chattanooga, TN on July 16, 2015.
Maybe SGT Mays it wasn't meant for you, it was directed at the situation. I did find that he released a statement and attached it here. I haven't seen it ran in the media.

Sgt Kelli Mays - I understand your feelings. As I said I had not seen this ran in the media either. At first I thought he was only going to address the situation but he did go on to give condolences to the families of those killed and injured.

Notice that the pace of this speech and the lack of passion. It was slow and scripted and it feels that he had did not appreciate being there and having to do this press conference. There were also the talking points on cue, the lone gunman spiel and the fact of the name was denied which he surely had to know.

The only Media outlet I know that showed it, virtually live, was, as usual, FOX NEWS.
