He's the ONLY one left in the GOP that has any sense. I think he's true to his conservative beliefs, but knows the importance of working across the isle to get things done. I wouldn't be surprised if he got the nod at the convention over the others. He's the only one who served in any role under Raegan, and he has a solid record with budgets.

Checking out John Kasich's claim that he was 'one of the chief architects' of balanced budget
Days after the first Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump continues to exert a powerful gravitational pull on his GOP rivals. If they aren’t talking about him, they are talking about why they don’t care to talk about him. Ohio Gov. John Kasich aimed to steer clear of Planet Trump on the Sunday news shows. CPT Alexander Grant - He's what they need, but I bet many will associate him with the GOP Old Guard. Sometimes what you don't want is what you need.

He has two problems. One, he falls into the establishment group that could care less what the voter wants, whether true or not. Second, he comes across as a know it all. It will be interesting to see what he does if he doesn't win by a significant margin.

He is sticking in hoping that he wins Ohio and then wait it out and again hope for a convention "melt-down".

SPC Andrew Griffin - hes gonna drop out, then Rubio. or he will drop out then trump gets the nomination ending cruz and Rubio. trump cant be stopped for the nomination but he can definitely be stopped before becoming the president

Because he is the best GOP candidate left standing. if he were to win the nomination and face Clinton, he would have my vote.

He wants to be Vice President.
Splitting and accumulating delegates makes him a power broker come convention time.

SPC Andrew Griffin I think he is hedging his bets that there will be brokered convention and that he will be able to get the support in that venue to obtain the nomination. His conservative background, experience, and accomplishments in Congress and as the Governor of Ohio certainly makes him a good compromise between Trump, Cruz and Rubio.

I think he's holding onto the slimmest hope that he can maintain viability and sneak into the convention, and if it turns out to be a brokered disaster, he can come out on top since he is the 'adult in the room.'
