My Congress person ( Jeff Miller ) has been ranking member of Veterans Affairs for years. Now he is lauded here for " Fixing " the VA. My position is it got worse with administrators insread of Doctors able to run the show, award themselves and each other bonuses while he was Director. I realize an all-rookie Congress may or may not be ideal.

I will be voting against the incumbent (yet again), but in the People's Republic of Maryland, it doesn't seem to make much difference!

CW5 (Join to see) Sir it could be worse (ie The People's Glorious State of Kommiefornia) and politicians who push for stricter gun laws get busted for gun trafficking then get promptly re-elected.

Vote them all out. Every single one of them including the small handful who are honest and decent.

I strongly feel term limits should be imposed on Congress. Look back at the beginning: political offices like that were intended to be a public service. The farmers and shopkeepers and what have you would take time out of their schedules to go to Philadelphia or later D.C. to hash out that years business. Once it was concluded they would go back to their home and their real job. Political service was never meant to be a career move. I believe that's why we have so many politicians who have forgotten that they serve the people, instead of the other way around.

SGT (Join to see), exactly. There are way too many elitists beholden to their masters that they have forgotten what this country is all about. It's sad.

I almost always vote against the incumbent. Especially Congressional types.
