So perhaps we should boycott everything that not's owned and made in America? Toyota Nissan, Honda although some are made in America however the ownership is in Japan. What about Apple cracking a Trillion dollars in value however do you know where their products a manufactured? What are your thoughts?

I don’t own a Harley-Davidson, but I wouldn’t dare not get one due to politics. If that is the bike I want, it’ll be the bike I own. If we boycotted everything that wasn’t made here, most of us wouldn’t be able to post on this site. We wouldn’t be able to go to work. No TV. Unless you remember how to wash clothes by hand, forget washing machines. ‘Made in America’ is a beautiful thing. Have American able to function is better. Where can I get a fully dressed Harley for a good price?

PO2 Kevin Parker - you are the man. I understand they are great motorcycles and hold their value forever. If I found a deal like that, I'd probably have to buy it too. Congrats on a sweet ride!

A1C Doug Towsley - Evo is the way to go. No real problem with Twin Cams other than the newer big cube cubes running really hot, but 88s are really fairly reliable and idiot proof though. I'm looking at an 04 Sporty Hugger with a $2,500 asking price. I figure $18-2,000 cash.
Lots of deals to be had if you are paitient and look. I bought an 07 E Glide 7 years ago that had MINOR road rash for $5,500. I changed it over to a Street glide and the Old Lady loves it!

boycotts are usually silly. personally I won't own a HD because they are overpriced or I'm just a cheap man... My Suzuki Blvd works great.

I look at a new Street Glide for $21K and I can get a liquid Cooled Kawasaki Vaquero for $12K. The full dress tour Vulcan Voyager is $14K and the Harley Ultra is $26K. It's tough to justify the extra money for the HD. The paint and chrome is a little better but not that much. I like my old Sportster and it does everything I need for now.

SSG Tom Pike - my Boulevard has a radiator (great for the south) and a drive shaft (great for non mechanical guys). It rides so great I just can't think for long about cheating on her...
